Winston Churchill once offered up a quote that is a perfect description of what we are seeing in this country right now. He stated:
"Some people regard private enterprise as a predatory tiger to be shot. Others look on it as a cow they can milk. Not enough people see it as a healthy horse, pulling a sturdy wagon."
In this case, socialists are the ones who see capitalism as the prey that needs to be shot and killed. Sadly, however, we are seeing far too many business owners using Trump’s tariff war as a reason to raise prices and bleed consumers for as much as they possibly can.
My question is, how do we get back to a place where capitalism is the healthy horse pulling the wagon rather than the cow being milked until it runs dry, without the government overstepping its bounds? Click here to respond.
