Are we a free society or a collectivist society? That is the basic question that is being asked when we are choosing to side with socialist Democrats or conservatives in government today. Collectivism uses the individual as the means, with the state (government) benefiting, while a free society uses the state as the means and the individual as the end.

Democrats are now selling this idea of a level playing field for the betterment of all, or the “common good,” but it is really about the government holding the power, making every member of society subordinate and reliant upon the state. Basically, it’s communism, and we have far too many sitting members of Congress who believe that is the direction we need to take America.
