During his father's second inauguration back in January, first son Barron Trump went over to say hello to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

After the interaction, there was a lot of speculation about what Barron said to Biden, and most of those rumors centered on what some thought could have been threats or words of intimidation.

The truth of the matter was quite different, however, as Barron's older brother, Eric, just revealed the truth about what the youngest Trump son told the outgoing president.

Barron, for the most part, has long been shielded from the public eye by his mother.

So, when he showed up at his father's inauguration, taller than anyone else and impeccably dressed in a sharp suit, he got the internet buzzing.

Barron stood 6'9” tall, and when he headed over to Biden and Harris, everyone was watching.

The first son leaned in, whispered something to Joe, who had a befuddled look on his face, with Barron then moving on to Harris before returning to his own family.

Speculation

I have seen dozens of lip readers try to figure out what Barron and Biden were saying in that moment.

One person claimed that Barron had issued Biden a warning that his family was coming to get him, using the confused look on Biden’s face to justify the hypothesis.

Judi James, a communications and body language expert, was far closer to to mark than most, explaining, "And although Biden's face seems to fall as though Barron has passed on some kind of sinister threat or message, the truth was less dramatic as Barron seemed to be leaning to greet Kamala and Biden's face was registering the fact that he'd finished his greeting ritual with Trump's son."

The great mystery, thankfully, has now been solved, as Eric Trump recently gave up the tapes on what his little brother said to the former president.

Eric spills the beans

While discussing the incident with Megyn Kelly, Eric Trump said he asked Barron about it, stating, “One night I call Barron and I go ‘Buddy, what did you actually say?’ And it was something so polite I almost wouldn’t even get it right.”

He continued, “But like, ‘Congratulations, and best of luck to you,’ or something like that. Something very respectable.”

So, no, my friends, Barron Trump was not issuing words of warning to Joe Biden.

We can stop the speculation about some “boss” moment, which would have been completely out of character for Barron, at least based on what I have read about him. Although I am sure there will be plenty of people who will not believe Eric's account and will keep pushing the alternative versions of incident, as they are far cooler than Barron simply telling Joe Biden, “good luck.”
