Chuck Lorre hopes Trump has a heart attack and smears Melania at LA charity gala

Chuck Lorre hoped aloud for President Trump's death and called Melania Trump an escort at a charity gala, and the Hollywood crowd cheered.

Breitbart News reported that the Big Bang Theory creator used a Project Angel Food awards stage in Los Angeles last week to unload on the president and the first lady while accepting honors for his own donations.

Lorre framed the insults as a professional duty. The audience ate it up.

Project Angel Food runs a Los Angeles charity operation Lorre himself praised as an oasis for people in need. He still steered the microphone straight into personal abuse.

Award speech turns into a death wish

Lorre told the room the “burden of my profession” left him no choice. He is a comedy writer, he said, so gratitude had to wait.

He opened with this:

"The burden of my profession demands that I take this opportunity to say a few words about that bloated orange piece of s*** in the White House."

After the line landed, he added, “Okay, I do have the right audience.”

He kept going. He said he would prefer to thank the people who built Project Angel Food. Then he explained his real morning routine.

"I’d love to express my gratitude to all the people who’ve devoted their lives to making Project Angel Food an oasis for those in need. That would be my preference. But because I’m a comedy writer, I have no choice but to explain how I wake up every morning, turn on CNN to see if the President of the United States had a heart attack while straining to take a dump."

That is not edge. That is a network-connected producer hoping the sitting president dies on the toilet, delivered under a charity banner.

Melania Trump gets the smear next

Lorre then pivoted to the first lady. He set Michelle Obama as the standard and cast Melania Trump as the opposite.

"I’d love to encourage you to pull out your wallets and contribute to this amazing organization, but my need to cause laughter forces me to question how a country can embrace a smart, educated, warm, funny First Lady like Michelle Obama then somehow be okay with a surgically enhanced, cold-hearted Yugoslavian escort who clearly hates her husband."

He called the first lady of the United States an “escort” at a fundraiser. He did it for applause.

He closed by rewriting a prayer.

"God, grant me the serenity to no longer give a s*** about all the stupid people in this country. The courage to say Donald Trump is a Russian asset who traded teenagers with Jeffrey Epstein, and the wisdom to end on a cheap laugh. Thank you very much."

The Epstein line was Lorre’s claim alone. No evidence came with it on that stage. He still chose it for the cheap finish.

This was not a one-off outburst

NewsBusters flagged the gala remarks midweek. The pattern is older.

In 2019, Breitbart News reported Lorre floating the idea that Trump might have syphilis or brain damage from birth.

Last October he put out a message branding Trump “a fascist, hate-filled, fear-mongering, demagogic, truth-shattering, autocratic golf cheater” and talked up “a little Old Testament wrath” aimed at him.

Same target. Same temperature. Different room.

Hollywood charity stage, same script

Lorre is a CBS producer and the force behind The Big Bang Theory. He has money, status, and a long record of industry clout. He used a nonprofit gala to chase laughs by degrading the president and the first lady.

He said he wanted to praise donors and ask for wallets. He said his craft forced him to do the opposite. The crowd cheered the choice.

Project Angel Food’s work for people in need did not get the clean night it could have had. The monologue did.

When elite Hollywood treats a charity podium like an open-mic night against the president and first lady, it shows you exactly whose dignity it values, and whose it doesn’t.
