The recent mayoral election in New York City was far more important than I think most people realize.
This socialist movement has been looking for a face better than that of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) to present to the country.
Now they have it in Zohran Mamdani, and not only are socialist candidates getting a grip, but the Communist Party of the United States of America (CPUSA) is back, and its candidates are winning offices.
Mamdani won his election with more than 50% of the vote, so any whining from Andrew Cuomo suggesting that Curtis Sliwa cost him the race is pure nonsense.
He lost this race because he was a horrible candidate, and people wanted change. Mamdani was that change, regardless of his politics.
That is why I was so hard on President Donald Trump for hosting Mamdani at the Oval Office and yucking it up for the cameras, let alone saying he would work with him.
We cannot afford to give this movement any grip, but it may already be too late.
Not only did Mamdani win his election, but there were numerous other socialist candidates around the country who won their elections as well.
For instance, socialist Robin Wonsley won a city council seat in Minneapolis, where we are seeing a growing far-left movement on several different fronts. Additionally, Aisha Chughtai and Jason Chavez, also socialists, won their city council seats.
We are seeing some rather scary developments in Minnesota, more specifically in Minneapolis, with what we would consider to be the American way gradually being discarded.
This is not something we are seeing in just blue states, either, as a socialist candidate won an election in Atlanta, Georgia. Kelsea Bond won a city council position. Remember, infiltrate from within is their goal, and in my opinion, these city council positions are far more dangerous than a seat in Congress right now. Candidates within this movement are slowly flipping entire cities in their direction.
Socialism is the first step to communism, and that is a movement that is clearly taking hold in this country. It has been about four decades since CPUSA has been a threat, but the party is back and it, too, is winning elections in this country.
The party had three candidates who ran in three different states, and they all won their elections. Communist Daniel Carson won a city council seat in Bangor, Maine. Brazilian immigrant Luisa de Paula Santos, also a member of CPUSA, won a school board seat in Cambridge, Massachusetts. And Hannah Shvets won a seat on Ithaca, New York's Common Council.
CPUSA co-chair Joe Sims stated, “The Communist Party believes that capitalism needs to be replaced fundamentally.” He later added, “Socialists believe they can function within the framework of the Democratic Party.” He continued, “We don’t believe the Democratic Party can be reformed.”
Mamdani and those like him are taking over the Democrat Party whether the establishment likes it or not. They are going to conquer city governments first, then they will work their way into state hierarchies, and we already have them in Congress. And people wonder why I was so panicked after the 2025 cycle. Now you know.
