Donald Trump will always have a place to live rent-free, namely, inside the head of Kamala Harris.
The former VP has been doing a ton of media to promote her new book, but she just seems to keep confirming to everyone just how lucky we were that Trump won the 2024 election, and she did not.
It has gotten so bad for Harris that even some of her most loyal supporters have had enough and just want her to go away.
Harris’ book title, 107 Days, tells you right out of the gate that she does a lot of whining about not having had enough time to run a successful campaign to defeat Trump.
While talking about the book with Jon Stewart, she stated that she and her team just did not have enough time, but Stewart pushed back that Harris probably had too much time, making a point I have made numerous times.
Had the election happened around day 60, she likely would have won because she was leading in all the polls taken at the time. Harris, however, stated that the additional time before Election Day was filled with Trump spreading misinformation about her. Possibly, but she was doing the same thing to Trump.
Harris claimed that Trump left the Biden administration with the worst unemployment rate since the Great Depression after his first term: FALSE. First, the numbers were tainted because of the COVID-19 lockdowns, which forced people to leave work. Second, by the time Trump left office, the economy had already started to recover, and unemployment had already fallen to 6.4%. Harris claimed Trump backed a national abortion ban: FALSE. There are plenty more of these misrepresentations, which is what every campaign uses during an election. Deal with it.
The best moment of the Stewart interview was when Harris lost her mind over the president's ballroom construction plan, stating, “Are you f‑‑king kidding me?... This guy wants to create a ballroom for his rich friends while completely turning a blind eye to the fact that babies are going to starve when the SNAP benefits end in just hours from now. Come on.”
She then added, “I’m not going to be distracted by, ‘Oh, does the guy have a big f–king hammer!?’ What about those babies!?”
One has nothing to do with the other, and there is a long, documented history of White House renovations undertaken with funding from private donors, including when Barack Obama turned the tennis courts into a basketball court so he could play hoops.
The ballroom is a much-needed addition to the White House that every subsequent administration will be able to enjoy, so Harris' premise is just utterly ridiculous. It is just something to be outraged about simply because Trump is the one doing it.
Longtime Democrat strategist James Carville, who guaranteed a Harris win before the election took place, is well and truly done with her, telling her to simply go away.
With Harris making headlines due to her book, Carville chimed in, “Let me be very clear here. No one that had anything to do with 2024, no Democrat wants to hear from you. We all voted for you.”
He continued, “OK, not Hunter Biden, not Harris, not Tim Walz, not the consultants, not anything. 2024 has left such a lingering bad taste in Democrats … just get out of the way.”
Harris decided not to run for governor of California, which would have perhaps kept her politically relevant, and she decided to do this book tour instead. When she made that call, I stated that I believed her political career in terms of running for president was dead. She missed her opportunity, and quite frankly, now she is just a brutal reminder of Joe Biden, someone the Democrat Party is trying to get America to forget about.
