Today’s “thought” was inspired by the Thomas Sowell quote that I thought characterized Democrats perfectly. Today’s comment comes from Joe G. out of Utah, who stated:
“Sowell exposed the ultimate truth about the modern Left. You will never find these people running a successful small business or working on a factory floor because reality does not tolerate failure. Instead, they burrow into universities, Hollywood, and the federal bureaucracy—places where they can collect a taxpayer-funded or tuition-funded paycheck no matter how destructive their theories are.
“When a conservative makes a mistake in the free market, they go broke. When a liberal policy destroys a major city, the politicians in charge just demand more funding. They have built an entire ecosystem completely detached from the real world, and we have to relentlessly defund and dismantle those institutions if we want to save this country.”
