This is par for the course for Newsom. First, the man has been spitting venom nonstop, but now that it is being returned, he wants to play the victim. Second, Cruz did not call Newsom “illiterate,” per se, but said that he was “historically illiterate,” criticizing his knowledge of American history. That is a rather significant difference.

The inspiration behind today’s thought is via a quote from H.L. Mencken, who once stated:

"The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out for himself, without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos."

This is what Democrats do not like about conservatives. If we dare to question the norm, they paint us as conspiracy theorists.
