I love this quote by Mark Twain, and it describes me perfectly:

"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect."

I pride myself on swimming upstream, and I think it says a lot about conservatives in general. I probably argue with my conservative friends just as much as I do with liberals, and I think that’s okay. At least with conservatives, I can have an open debate, and we usually find common ground.
