It is honestly very tough to tell exactly what happened here, but I would imagine the investigation will slow the video down, frame by frame, including what took place that led up to the shooting. Regardless of that outcome, cooler heads need to prevail here rather than continuing to spew rhetoric that is only inciting more anger and protests.
I dug deep into the book of Abraham Lincoln to find something that would be relevant to the unrest we see in this country regarding ICE operations, and this is what I found:
"There is no grievance that is a fit object of redress by mob law. In any case that arises... one of two positions is necessarily true; that is, the thing is right within itself, and therefore deserves the protection of all law and all good citizens; or it is wrong, and therefore proper to be prohibited by legal enactments; and in neither case, is the interposition of mob law either necessary, justifiable, or excusable."
The shootings that took place are horrific, and the loss of life is tragic, but it never would have happened, in my opinion, had Democrats not whipped liberals up regarding ICE agents (such as calling them the Gestapo). Agree or disagree? Click here to respond.
