This weekend, another civilian was shot and killed by an ICE agent during an altercation.
The agent claimed that he feared for his life and opened fire.
Democrats see it differently, but Attorney General Pam Bondi and DHS Secretary Kristi Noem are standing behind the agent.
Alex Pretti was shot and killed on Saturday in Minnesota during an altercation with ICE agents.
Democrats and the media want you to know that Pretti was an ICU nurse, while not interested in saying anything about the events that led up to the shooting.
From the video, it appeared that Pretti and officers got into a confrontation after agents were trying to clear the area of another protester who was arguing with them.
I am not going to make any judgment on this until we see all the video, meaning everything that led up to the shooting itself, something Democrats are not even considering right now. They just want you to believe that an ICE agents executed someone in the streets of Minnesota for no reason other than bloodlust.
Saturday night, after Noem had time to review the shooting, she stated, “The officers attempted to disarm this individual, but the armed suspect reacted violently.”
She added, “The officers attempted to disarm this individual, but the armed suspect reacted violently. Fearing for his life and for the lives of his fellow officers around him, an agent fired defensive shots.”
She continued, “Medics were on the scene immediately and attempted to deliver medical aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.”
Noem is already taking heat from the liberal horde on this one, but it is a given that she is going to back these agents after all the attacks they have been subject to. Let’s not forget that if this man were not interfering with ICE operations, this would never have happened.
Attorney General Pam Bondi took a different route, putting the blame on Democrats for whipping up their supporters over ICE operations.
Regarding the continued harassment of ICE officers, Bondi stated, “The full weight of federal law enforcement is engaged in Minnesota and this Department of Justice is advancing action on every front.”
She continued, “[Gov. Tim] Walz, [state Attorney General Keith] Ellison and [Minneapolis Mayor Jacob] Frey have acknowledged receipt of federal grand jury subpoenas from this DOJ.”
I fully support this, as I believe we would not even be in this situation if there were no sanctuary cities and states. This is why the Supreme Court must address this issue, now more than ever, to settle the legality of sanctuary cities. And Democrats must be held accountable for the dangerous rhetoric that has created chaos in our streets and the outright hatred of our federal agents.
