Trump called the project a “waste of money,” which I don’t agree with, but that is beside the point. Today, I used a quote from Theodore Roosevelt to the point of making the most of what you have rather than wanting what other people have. Our comment on the subject today comes from Vance T. out of Connecticut, who stated:
“This is the antidote to the entitlement culture we see everywhere today. Too many people are paralyzed by looking at what their neighbor has, thinking the system is ‘rigged’ just because they aren't starting at the finish line. My grandfather built a life for our family, starting with nothing but a strong back and a refusal to make excuses.
“He didn't wait for the ‘perfect time’ or a government handout; he just went to work. If you spend your life waiting for better cards to be dealt, you’ll never play the hand. You have to play the hand you’re holding, and play it hard. That is how you win in America."
