Thought of the Day

Today, we are going to go with a quote by Frederick Douglass, who was defending the Constitution against the naysayers who believed it encouraged slavery rather than working towards ending it:

"Interpret the Constitution with strict adherence to the plain and common-sense meaning of its language, and the Constitution is a glorious liberty document."

I believe the Constitution is one of the most amazing documents ever penned, and I continue to be impressed by how our Founders already had a solution in place for issues that were hundreds of years before their time. Click here to respond.
