Video of the Afternoon

I don’t know where to begin with this one. First, this is a city that, since 1947, has had a Democrat mayor for all but four years (1963-67). Second, the post makes it seem like poverty does not exist in socialist countries, which is an outright lie.

For example, Venezuela has a poverty rate of 85-90%, with more than 60% living in extreme poverty. So, please, let’s not pretend that socialism is the answer. But I think we can all agree that endless Democrats in power is a problem for major cities in this country.

I have run this quote from Thomas Sowell before, but with the election season heating up, it is worth repeating:

"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong."
