Here we go again with a member of Congress being less than honest with the American people. Democrats do not have an actual plan to fix healthcare costs. They are asking for a blanket extension of the current Obamacare subsidies. That is not fixing the problem. That is throwing money at it and kicking the can down the road.
Today’s thought was about the constant resistance we see from Democrats when it comes to investigating fraud in our entitlement programs. Our comment today comes from Warren F. from Nevada, who wrote:
“The answer is simple: they are hiding the receipts. If these programs were running efficiently and legally, they’d be happy to show the books. But we all know the truth -- they are likely riddled with fraud, waste, and payments to people who shouldn't be getting them."
“Reagan was right, but the modern Democrat party doesn't want people to leave welfare; they want a permanent underclass that relies on them for survival. Refusing to turn over the records is essentially an admission of guilt.”
When our politicians are part of the problem, they need to be removed. However, in order for that to happen, we need the leftists in this country to wake up rather than being woke.
