Today’s “thought” was a tough subject, asking the American people to recognize the fact that while we complain about an ineffective and overspending government, ultimately, the blame falls on We the People for putting the same folks in office time and time again.

Well said, Victor, and I agree. We need to remove people who made themselves rich from our government and get back to the original idea offered by our Founding Fathers, in which we have a mix in Congress that is representative of citizens, rather than made up of career politicians who chose Congress over working in a law firm. Very few members of Congress actually “represent” their constituents as intended, and we need to change that.
