Second lady Usha Vance has found herself the subject of several attacks in recent weeks.
MS NOW host Jen Psaki made a horrible comment about her, and Nick Fuentes, well, he was Nick Fuentes.
Now Vice President JD Vance is firing back, and he did not hold his tongue.
Piers Morgan recently interviewed Fuentes and called him out for using a racist slur about Indians when talking about Mrs. Vance.
Fuentes attempted to justify the comment, stating, "If you look online at the people that are supporting JD Vance the most, they are racist.”
He went on ranting nonsense about memes and such before Morgan asked him whether he would feel responsible if others saw his rant about Mrs. Vance and also used the slur.
Of course, Fuentes said he did not feel accountable at all.
Psaki, the former Biden administration press secretary, hit Mrs. Vance from a different angle.
She stated, "I always wonder what's going on in the mind of his wife. Like, are you OK? Please blink four times. Come over here, we'll save you."
Psaki then called Vance a Manchurian candidate, referring to the classic movie in which a politician was nothing more than a puppet for a foreign regime. She claimed Vance was so desperate to be president that he would do anything to get there, including appeasing Donald Trump.
This was likely because Vance was once a never-Trumper, who then changed his tune during the 2024 cycle and wound up being called upon to take the number-two spot on the GOP ticket.
This weekend, an interview with Vance was published by UnHerd, and Vance was asked about the comments that have been aimed at his wife.
The vice president responded, “Let me be clear. Anyone who attacks my wife, whether their name is Jen Psaki or Nick Fuentes, can eat s–t. That’s my official policy as vice president of the United States.”
It may not have been the response one would expect from a good Christian man, but I understand the outrage against people attacking his wife, who, to my knowledge, has not said a bad word against anyone since her husband took office.
That interview went live right after Vance had taken the stage at AmericaFest, a Turning Point USA event, which was held on Sunday. Vance got some headlines there as well, calling out Ben Shapiro for his comments toward Tucker Carlson for having interviewed Fuentes on his show. The irony was quite rich in that Vance was defending the man who insulted his wife, insisting that he still should not be denied a forum in which to speak. I just doubt anyone saw it coming.
