Vance says he expects indictments from Gabbard DOJ referrals

Over the last couple of weeks, there has been quite a bit of maneuvering by the Trump administration and Democrats regarding the alleged Obama administration coup to take out Donald Trump.

Democrats continue to push back against the allegations, calling them the result of a conspiracy theory.

However, Vice President JD Vance stated this weekend that he is expecting a lot of indictments to come from Gabbard’s investigation.

Fact-check or news bias?

Right from the outset, the media and Democrats have tried to present Gabbard’s revelations as nothing more than partisan nonsense and conspiracy theory.

For instance, FactCheck.org ran a post headlined, “Gabbard’s Misleading ‘Coup’ Claim.”

The ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, Sen. Mark Warren (D-IL), stated, “No one ever claimed Russia altered votes, but everyone claims that Russia tried to interfere on Trump’s behalf.” He is right, but that is not the focus of what Gabbard is saying, and the fact-check's premise was purportedly to debunk Gabbard’s claim.

From the outset, Gabbard has made it clear that this is about Democrats adding Trump to the narrative to create a story of collusion. It is baffling to me that nobody in the mainstream media or within the administration is hammering that point home.

Grand jury investigation launched

Attorney General Pam Bondi clearly thought there was enough evidence presented by Gabbard to launch a grand jury investigation, a move that rattled Democrats.

While the DOJ has stayed mum on this, one source reportedly stated that Bondi is taking the allegations made by Gabbard “very seriously,” which makes perfect sense, as you just don’t convene a grand jury for something that will wind up blowing up in your face.

I am starting to wonder whether the lack of pushback on the claims by Democrats is not part of the strategy at this point.

Perhaps the idea is to lull Democrats into thinking this is all conspiracy nonsense until the grand jury delivers an indictment. And if that happens, you had better believe this is something that the media and Democrats will need to take very seriously, as these are just not random charges being filed at that point.

Vance sees indictments coming

I take things that Vance says a bit more seriously due to the fact that his political future is on the line in everything he says and does right now. As the heir apparent to MAGA, he cannot afford to have egg on his face.

When asked about the subjects of the grand jury investigation, Vance responded, “I absolutely think they broke the law. You’re gonna see a lot of people get indicted for that. Here’s the thing that should really bother the American people. What do you want our intelligence community to be doing? I want them to be catching bad guys.”

He continued, “I want to be making sure that terrorists aren’t gonna kill innocent American civilians. I don’t want them laundering Hillary Clinton’s campaign talking points into the American media and giving them this air of legitimacy. It is sick and it’s disgusting.”

From what I have seen, and that is from taking the reports at face value, both former DNI James Clapper and former CIA Director John Brennan should be very worried. And this does appear as though the scheme had Barack Obama’s blessing, but it will be far more difficult to get an indictment against a former president than it would be against the other two. You guys know I shoot straight, and if I thought this was nonsense, I would call it out as such, but I think this could really have teeth. So, we will continue to follow it and report on its progress, but don’t be surprised to see a handful of indictments in about a month or so.
