Trump warns Hamas of ‘massive bloodshed’ if peace deal not signed

Several days ago, there was worldwide excitement that the war between Israel and Hamas appeared to be near an end.

Trump announced that Israel had accepted the terms of the peace deal he proposed, and Hamas also appeared to be on board.

However, Hamas has been dragging its feet, and now Trump is applying more pressure with a threat on which I know Israel would love to deliver.

Trump announces deal

On Saturday, it seemed like the Trump-proposed peace deal was a sure thing, as Israel had reportedly accepted the terms laid out by the president and would initiate a withdrawal from Gaza.

Trump announced on Truth Social, "After negotiations, Israel has agreed to the initial withdrawal line, which we have shown to, and shared with, Hamas."

He continued, “When Hamas confirms, the Ceasefire will be IMMEDIATELY effective, the Hostages and Prisoner Exchange will begin, and we will create the conditions for the next phase of withdrawal, which will bring us close to the end of this 3,000 YEAR CATASTROPHE.”

As it turns out, however, Hamas was not necessarily quite as on board as it first appeared.

Hold on…

Hamas initially appeared willing to talk, but it also made very clear that the negotiations on this matter were far from over.

The terror group stated that it “affirms its readiness to immediately enter into negotiations through the mediators to discuss the details of this agreement.”

The statement continued, “The movement also renews its agreement to hand over the administration of the Gaza Strip to a Palestinian body of independents (technocrats), based on Palestinian national consensus and Arab and Islamic support.”

Reports broke later in the day that Hamas was adamantly against some of the stipulations in the deal and that they were essentially non-starters, so all of a sudden, an agreement that appeared imminent appeared to have had the brakes slammed on it.

Time running out

Trump has been extremely patient with both sides, but when the president gets aggressive, that is when his patience is running thin, and I would encourage Hamas to heed the most recent statement from the White House.

Trump stated that he would allow Egypt to work with Hamas to finalize the details, but he encouraged them to move fast.

Then the president dropped the real bombshell, stating, "TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE OR, MASSIVE BLOODSHED WILL FOLLOW — SOMETHING THAT NOBODY WANTS TO SEE!" He continued, "If this LAST CHANCE agreement is not reached, all HELL, like no one has ever seen before, will break out against Hamas. THERE WILL BE PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST ONE WAY OR THE OTHER. Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

That is a warning shot that Trump is about to turn Israel loose on Hamas, no holds barred, if this deal is not in place very soon. The left does not seem to understand that their allegations of war crimes by Israel and tales of genocide are falling on deaf ears. No matter how liberals try to frame this, Trump knows that he is on the right side of the situation, but everyone has a limit to their patience, and I think Trump is now redlining on his.
