President Donald Trump has finally seen enough… if the SAVE Act is not passed, then nothing gets passed, including funding legislation.
That is how important it is to him to have the upcoming elections protected.
The Left is going to tell you how this is voter suppression, a narrative I am about to obliterate.
Pass it or else… that is basically the message that Donald Trump is sending to Congress. He delivered his message, as usual, via Truth Social, for the entire country to see.
He wrote, “Great Job by hard-working Scott Pressler on Fox & Friends talking about using the Filibuster, or Talking Filibuster, in order to pass THE SAVE AMERICA ACT, an 88% issue with ALL VOTERS. It must be done immediately.
“It supersedes everything else. MUST GO TO THE FRONT OF THE LINE. I, as President, will not sign other Bills until this is passed, AND NOT THE WATERED-DOWN VERSION – GO FOR THE GOLD: MUST SHOW VOTER I.D. & PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP: NO MAIL-IN BALLOTS EXCEPT FOR MILITARY – ILLNESS, DISABILITY, TRAVEL: NO MEN IN WOMEN’S SPORTS: NO TRANSGENDER [MUTILATION] FOR CHILDREN! DO NOT FAIL!!! President DONALD J. TRUMP."
Trump is right, as the overwhelming majority of Americans support some form of voter ID, and that terrifies Democrats.
The Brennan Center for Justice recently published a piece called “New SAVE Act Bills Would Still Block Millions of Americans From Voting,” and it is the most ridiculous thing I have ever read in my life.
This is fearmongering at its best, trying to make the argument that asking someone to show a birth certificate is akin to Nazi Germany.
Quite frankly, I don’t care whether they ask you to show it at the polls or when you register. It’s a birth certificate, and you need this document to get a driver’s license, a marriage certificate, and a host of other documents.
What is utterly shameful is that we have elected members of Congress and governors of Democrat states pretending as though they have no idea how to obtain this mysterious document, so I am going to take care of that today simply because I am sick and tired, not to mention disgusted, by this argument.
Since Sens. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) and Chuck Schumer (D-NY), as well as California Governor Gavin Newsom, have no idea where to get a birth certificate, I am going to help everyone.
All you need to do is go to VitalChek, which is an authorized vendor for more than 450 government agencies. This site lets you obtain a marriage certificate, a divorce certificate, a death certificate, and yes, a birth certificate.
If you were born outside of the United States to American parents, you can go to USA.Gov, which will lead you through the process of obtaining your birth certificate. Now, do you know how long it took me to put all that information together? Seven minutes, yet two US senators and a sitting governor claimed they have no idea where to find this information. This is not voter suppression, and asking for a birth certificate will not stop a single person from being able to vote. It’s just another ridiculous excuse from Democrats to allow voter fraud in our elections. That is all it is.
