Trump suggests Ilhan Omar staged ‘attack’

During a town hall event this week, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was sprayed with a liquid by someone at the event.

The entire scene seemed almost rehearsed, and I was far from the first person to suggest this.

As a matter of fact, even President Trump suggested that the attack was staged.

The attack

If you saw the video, everything about it raised red flags. Now, I won’t be so bold as to accuse her of faking this, but I really cannot wait to see how this all pans out.

The man approached Omar with a syringe that was filled with some liquid, then, after spraying her shirt, he started to back off and walk to the side while mumbling something.

For a second, Omar stepped back, then raised her hand and stepped toward the man, as if she was going to fight him, but her security team took over at that point.

The man was tackled, but Omar still appeared as though she wanted a piece of the attacker.

Giving hints

The alleged attacker has since been identified as Anthony Kazmierczak, 55, and the substance in the syringe was reportedly apple cider vinegar.

As it turns out, Kazmierczak asked a neighbor to watch his dog, anticipating that he was going to be arrested.

The neighbor claimed, “He said, ‘I’m going to this Omar thing.’ I’m like, Omar what? He said, ‘This town hall thing.’ And he said, ‘I might get arrested.’”

The neighbor continued, “I figured it was nonsense. He wasn’t going to do anything stupid. I said, ‘Sure, I’ll walk her.’ But then the next day he said, ‘Don’t worry about it, I’ve got it covered.’ I figured he blew that off.”

Trump chimes in

When Trump was asked about the alleged attack, he responded, “I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her. I haven’t seen it. No, no. I hope I don’t have to bother.”

Omar later responded online about the attack, posting, “We will continue. This f—ing a–hole is not getting away with this. I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work. I don’t let bullies win. Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong.”

What I found the most amusing about the entire incident was people like AOC talking about GOP rhetoric being responsible for the attack, while saying nothing about the Democrat rhetoric and Trump’s assassination or the attacks against law enforcement.

If this attack was real, let me just say this to anyone else thinking about it… stop. Any attack against any Democrat only feeds their narrative, and we all know the media is one-sided on this. Our movement has enough challenges without having to fend off the repercussions of attacks such as this.
