New York City’s mayoral office says President Donald Trump and Mayor Zohran Mamdani will meet Monday, their third face-to-face session as the midterm campaign nears its close.
The mayor’s office confirmed the meeting will take place at Gracie Mansion, the mayor’s official residence. Fox News reported that City Hall expects the discussion to cover issues affecting New York City and its residents.
The meeting brings the president and the mayor of America’s largest city together as the campaign for November’s midterm elections enters its final weeks. City Hall has not released a detailed agenda.
Trump and Mamdani first met in the Oval Office in November 2025, shortly after Mamdani won the mayoral election. They discussed housing, affordability and other concerns facing New Yorkers.
Both men expressed optimism after that meeting about working together where possible. They met again at the White House in February, though Fox News did not specify the year.
Mamdani has made affordability the centerpiece of his City Hall administration. That places housing and household costs among the clearest areas where Monday’s discussion could move from broad promises to specific policy.

Still, Monday’s stated purpose concerns New York City. Residents now have reason to expect more than general assurances from a third meeting between the president and mayor.
