Trump makes UN General Assembly attendees uncomfortable during Tuesday address

This week, Donald Trump addressed the U.N. General Assembly, and let’s just say he left his diplomatic skills on the bench for this one.

On the heels of France’s President Macron recognizing a Palestinian State and encouraging other allies to do the same, Trump went off.

Trump also called out our allies for continuing to buy oil from Russia, which, in essence, is funding its war effort against Ukraine.

Macron makes his mark

With Trump back in office, Macron has made a big move to be “the man” on the international stage. It appears that since everyone supposedly hates his American counterpart, Macron is trying to save his political career by saving the world from the bad orange man.

Macron has now recognized a Palestinian State, and he somehow managed to get a handful of allies to do the same, completely undermining Israel.

He stated, “The time has come to end the war in Gaza, the massacres and the death.”

Macron continued, “The time has come to do justice for the Palestinian people and thus to recognize the State of Palestine in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem.”

A reward for Hamas

Macron had no sooner made that announcement when reports surfaced that Hamas had publicly executed three Palestinians for allegedly working with Israel.

Trump railed against the allies who gave this not to Palestine, stating, "As everyone knows, I have also been deeply engaged in seeking a ceasefire in Gaza. Have to get that done. You have to get it done.”

He continued, "Unfortunately, Hamas has repeatedly rejected reasonable offers to make peace. We can’t forget Oct. 7, can we?"

Trump went on, “Now, as if to encourage continued conflict, some of this body is seeking to unilaterally recognize a Palestinian state… this would be a reward for these horrible atrocities, including Oct. 7."

Funding the war

Trump then went off on allies who were continuing to purchase oil from Russia, stating that, in his estimation, doing so literally helps fund the war against Ukraine.

Trump stated, "China and India are the primary funders of the ongoing war by continuing to purchase Russian oil.”

He continued, "But inexcusably, even NATO countries have not cut off much Russian energy and Russian energy products, which, as you know, I found out about two weeks ago, and I wasn't happy."

Trump is 100% right, and NATO members could be seen squirming while he was dishing against them. Ironically, one of the top importers of Russian oil is the same country that just led this push to recognize Palestine, that being France.
