Donald Trump got the break he needed to pull attention away from the Jeffrey Epstein files.
Two blue states are now awash in fraud allegations, and the president is jumping all over the situation.
Trump blasted both Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and California Gov. Gavin Newsom over the recent reports.
The corruption in Minnesota appears to be undeniable, and Walz is getting absolutely roasted over it.
The situation was already getting widespread attention, but when Nick Shirley posted his recent video, having visited many of the allegedly fraudulent daycare centers, it became a true national headline.
This goes well beyond the initial $250 million fraud case that has already gone to court, with some new estimates suggesting that as much as $9 billion has been stolen by these alleged scam artists.
Ironically, many media outlets are now more concerned with ruining Shirley’s credibility than they are with the fraud itself in Minnesota.
Newsom’s office was rocked by a recent state inspector general’s report that not only exposed significant waste but also some rather large opportunities for massive fraud to occur within the state budget.
Even Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) called out Newsom over the report.
He stated, “It was the governor’s own inspector general who said that there are billions of dollars of fraud and waste. And I heard about it from people in my district. They were saying, Ro, you’re calling for higher taxes, we’re maybe happy to pay those higher taxes, but we want to know — higher taxes on the very wealthy, I should clarify — but we want to know that that tax dollar is not going to get wasted.”
Khanna continued, “And there was fraud and waste with COVID. There’s been fraud and waste on some of the eligibilities of these programs. There’s been fraud and waste on some of these infrastructure programs.”
Trump wants to get the attention off of himself and his administration as soon as possible, so he was ready to pounce on these reports. The president stated, "There is more FRAUD in California than there is in Minnesota, if that is even possible. When you add in Election Fraud, then they are tied for first. Two Crooked Governors, two Crooked States!"
Then he went after Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), stating, "Much of the Minnesota Fraud, up to 90%, is caused by people that came into our Country, illegally, from Somalia. ‘Congresswoman’ Omar, an ungrateful loser who only complains and never contributes, is one of the many scammers. Did she really marry her brother?”
His post continued, “Lowlifes like this can only be a liability to our Country’s greatness. Send them back from where they came, Somalia, perhaps the worst, and most corrupt, country on earth. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"
I believe that is about as nice a New Year’s greeting as those three are going to get from Trump.
