The way members of Congress are acting, Donald Trump has done things we have never seen before, and he needs to go to jail.
The reality, however, is that virtually every president in modern history has launched an attack citing the War Powers Resolution.
And oddly enough, it was Barack Obama who went over the legal time limit, and Dems never said a word.
This has become nothing more than a stop the bad orange man crusade by the Left and members of the GOP who have been fighting Trump all along.
Sen. Tim Kaine (D-VA) stated, "Has President Trump learned nothing from decades of U.S. meddling in Iran and forever wars in the Middle East?"
Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) has somehow managed to link food stamps to the war, and Gov. Gavin Newsom is hitting him on rising gasoline prices due to the strikes.
They are all unhinged, but none more than the members of the Squad.
Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) is among the members of the Squad that believes Trump is acting over and above this authority.
She stated, “I voted yes on this resolution because Congress alone has the power to declare war, and we cannot be putting our troops at risk based on the ‘opinion’ of any President unilaterally. House Republicans and a handful of Democrats have just handed Trump and his administration a blank check to continue his unconstitutional and illegal war in Iran.
“Six U.S. servicemembers have already been killed, and more than a dozen have been injured. More than $5 billion in taxpayer money has been wasted. And all that as Marco Rubio let it slip that there was no imminent threat from Iran. Instead, the imminent threat was that the Israeli government was planning to attack Iran. This is clearly a war of choice, not necessity.”
Funny how she is worried about the $5 billion costs of the operation but is not sneezing at the $9 billion in waste of Minnesota’s fraud problems. And not to sound cold, but the military loses their lives during conflicts; that is just the harsh reality of the situation. To act as though any operation is possible without loss of life is just idiotic. It’s horrible, it’s a shame, but it is also what every one of these people signed up for, knowing full well they may have to pay the ultimate price to defend this nation’s freedom and protect it from threats like Iran.

The phrase is correct, but that is not what is happening here. War has not been declared.
You can call Epic Fury a war if it makes you feel better, but for now, it is a military operation. Once it goes past 60 days without congressional approval or if Congress declares war, then it is a different situation. But until then, Trump has every right to conduct this operation.
This is a powerplay and a misinformation campaign by Democrats, nothing more. Trump has the authority to conduct this strike, and anyone telling you anything differently is lying. Now, if we get past 60 days, we can revisit this conversation. But until then, it is Operation Epic Fury, period.
