Over the last few years, it has become apparent that Democrats are spending a fortune to generate public backing for their policies and to protest Republican ones.
George Soros-funded groups were reportedly funneling money to other activist groups to help pay for the George Floyd protesters back in 2020, among others.
Now it is being reported that those groups are helping Dems pick up the tab for paid followers on social media.
Soros has always been tied to financing left-wing protests, but as far as the media is concerned, the concept is all a big conspiracy theory
I am thinking that is because Soros never directly paid protesters, but numerous reports have shown his foundations sending money to groups that were funding their activities.
That is reportedly happening again, with protesters recently showing up in D.C. amid Trump’s crime crackdown.
For instance, FREE DC has been among the groups bringing in protesters, and it is reportedly being funded by groups like Community Change and Community Change Action, both of which receive money from Soros’ Open Society Foundations.
Crowds on Demand CEO Adam Swart is getting rich by supplying paid protesters, especially after Trump reclaimed the Oval Office, and more recently, when he announced the crackdown on crime in D.C.
While he would not reveal his client list, he did say, "We don't comment on specific protests, but generally the range can be from the low hundreds, the low one hundreds, into a few hundred.”
He continued, "It really depends on the location, the duration and any challenges, for example, cold weather or early morning. You guys at 'Fox & Friends' know all about getting up early in the morning. We tend to pay people more [for] that."
If you have to pay people to back your cause, it is really not worth supporting, at least in my eyes.
A report broke this week that Democrats are now also paying for pro-Democrat influencers on social media. The report stated that groups are paying these influencers roughly $8,000 per month to support and promote their causes.
According to the report, liberal influencers such as Olivia Julianna, Loren Piretra, and Barrett Adair are among the people being paid by a dark-money group called “Sixteen Thirty Fund.”
Elizabeth Dubois, a University of Ottawa professor who studies digital politics, is not comfortable with this business model, stating, “For democracy to thrive, we need transparency around who is paying for political messages,” and I agree with her completely.
So, we have Democrat protesters who are not protesters driven by passion, but by money. And now we have people pushing agendas on social media solely to cash a check. This is advertising, not activism, but the way it is being presented, as Dubois stated, is beyond deceptive and misleading.
