Obama continues to grovel for forgiveness from Michelle

Being married to a president is not easy, by any means, but as the first lady, your role is to support your spouse during what will be the most stressful years of his life.

When Barack Obama was in the White House, the perception was that they had the perfect marriage, but Michelle often came off quite angry when giving speeches, more so after leaving office.

Mrs. Obama eventually admitted that she was not happy with Barack during those years, and it would appear that he is still trying to make up for it.

Didn’t really like him

During a 2022 interview, Michelle Obama fessed up that she had a major problem with Barack during the presidential years.

She stated, “People think I’m being catty by saying this -- it’s like, there were 10 years where I couldn’t stand my husband. And guess when it happened? When those kids were little.”

Michelle continued, “And for 10 years while we’re trying to build our careers and, you know, worrying about school and who’s doing what and what, I was like, ‘Ugh, this isn’t even.’”

Some people called it courageous and transparent, but I thought it was selfish. Democrat or Republican, the weight of that office is substantial, and to sit there and whine about it just seemed selfish to me.

Deep deficit

It now almost feels as though Michelle wants to see Barack grovel in public for her forgiveness, as though his being president was a sort of punishment for her, so now he has to make up for it.

To that point, Obama recently stated that he was in a “deep deficit” after two terms as president, then added, “So I have been trying to dig myself out of that hole by doing occasionally fun things.”

When he was later asked about that comment, he explained, “Michelle -- when our girls were growing up, that was priority number one, two, three and four. And so, I did not fully appreciate, I think, as engaged of a father as I was, the degree of stress and tension for her, knowing that not just me and Michelle were under scrutiny and in this strange environment, but that we were raising our daughters in a kind of situation that just wasn't normal."

I get all that, but for her to create a hole for him to dig out of because he was president, again, I think it is just selfish.

I’m out

Apparently, Barack has done enough begging and pleading to be forgiven by Michelle, as he recently stated, “Now I’m at about level ground.”

Does Obama think this makes him more appealing to people, because I think it is pathetic.

While I think Michelle was being selfish for acting this way, what Barack Obama has done to himself publicly is completely emasculating, but that seems to be how Democrat women like their men.

To think this man once held the highest office in the land, and here he is begging his wife for forgiveness for serving in the office that literally gave them everything they have today. Perhaps Michelle should be thankful for that massive Martha Vineyards home and for riding around in fancy yachts, a huge Netflix deal, and a nine-figure net worth, all because her husband dared to run for president. Again… selfish. And maybe, just maybe, Barack needs to man up a little. Michelle Obama is selfish, but he is acting pathetic and weak.
