Ever since Donald Trump came back into office, Democrats, the media, and liberals have been painting immigration enforcement officers as the modern-day Gestapo.
I have stated time and again that if this rhetoric continues, it is only a matter of time before blood is shed, or worse.
That day just came in Los Angeles, but thankfully, nobody lost their life… this time.
This past weekend, “No Kings” protests were held across the country, and one particular moment went viral, for good reason.
At one of the rallies in Chicago, a man grabbed a microphone and stated, "You gotta grab a gun, we gotta turn around the guns on this fascist system.”
He continued, "These ICE agents gotta get shot and wiped out. The same machinery that’s on full display right there has to get wiped out."
I firmly believe this is what Democrats have wanted to see from the beginning as a result of their messaging, and it is finally starting to pay off for them.
Cartels and drug gangs are no dummies, and they can see anti-ICE sentiment growing more and more aggressive in this country, and they are taking advantage of it.
Reports surfaced this week that criminal organizations are now offering bounties of up to $5,000 for the killing of ICE agents in the low- to mid-levels of the agency, significantly higher for bosses.
DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin explained, “It’s not just Chief Bovino who has a bounty on his head. We actually just found out from recent reporting that there’s more bounties. We have reports -- $2,000 for a single ICE agent to be killed, $5,000 for a mid-tier officer. It’s really disgusting what’s happening.”
For high-level officials like Bovino, bounties were reported as approaching $50,000.
Early Wednesday morning, a report surfaced that an illegal immigrant and popular TikTok influencer known for reporting on ICE arrests had been shot in Los Angeles.
The report stated that Carlitos Ricardo Parias was hit in the elbow by officers after ramming his vehicle into federal agents.
Acting U.S. Attorney Bill Essay explained, “Ultimately, an agent opened fire, wounding Parias and a deputy US marshal, who was hit with a ricochet bullet. Fortunately, both the deputy marshal and Parias are expected to recover.”
This situation was about as easy to predict as the sun coming up in the morning, and I doubt it will be the last of such attacks. As long as Democrats continue to spit venom, loonies on the left are going to be triggered, and these incidents are only going to get worse.
