Melania Trump has been hated by the media ever since she married Donald Trump.
During Trump’s first term in the White House, we saw his wife mocked for her accent and her initiatives slammed, and it has been more of the same during the current term.
Mrs. Trump just keeps her head down, however, delivering results, which now includes reuniting more abducted children caught up in the Russia-Ukraine war with their families.
After Melania Trump released the audiobook version of her memoir, she was horribly mocked.
She posted, “A NEW ERA IN PUBLISHING. I am honored to bring you Melania -- The AI Audiobook -- narrated entirely using artificial intelligence in my own voice. Let the future of publishing begin.”
One troll commented, “Understandably AI since you can barely speak English.” Another added, “Melania record it yourself You’re not that busy.”
It just reminded me of the ladies on The View, who made fun of Mrs. Trump for allegedly plagiarizing a Michelle Obama speech. Co-host Sunny Hostin was getting ready to do the segment while trying to imitate Melania’s accent, but she was warned off by Whoopi Goldberg.
During Trump’s first term, Melania’s main initiative was the Be Best campaign, which, of course, liberals and Democrats mocked.
The first lady posted at the time, "As the legacy of #BeBest comes to a close at the White House, we must continue to give a voice to our Nation's children & the issues that impact their lives.”
She continued, "It's the values & spirit of the American people that inspired Be Best & it's those values that will carry on its mission."
Dave Weissman, a former Trump supporter and member of the anti-Trump Republican Lincoln Project campaign, responded, "#BeBest is the biggest shame of a policy coming from First Ladies; your supporters stormed the US Capitol attacking our Republic while you tout be best. You haven't even condemned your husband for inciting these insurrectionists.”
After the war broke out between Ukraine and Russia, Melania Trump's efforts have been concentrated on making sure any of the children taken by the Russians are reunited with their families.
She just announced that she has reunited seven more families, stating, “My dedication to guaranteeing the safe return of children to their families in this region is unwavering."
Mrs. Trump continued, “I commend the leadership and persistent diplomacy of Russia and Ukraine in the pursuit of the reunification of children and families. Their bridge-building has created a tangible collaborative environment—an anchor for optimism. This cooperation will continue to drive the process forward through the next phase.”
Not surprisingly, this is getting very little grip in the mainstream media. They won’t report this achievement, but if Mrs. Trump has something written on the back of her coat or wears heels to a disaster site, it is sure to make front-page news.
