Democrats have been raging against Donald Trump’s claims about the 2020 election, and they continue to do so, but they were the ones who developed this strategy of casting doubt about the integrity of the vote.
We can go all the way back to the Bush-Gore contest in 2000 for evidence of the phenomenon, which was utilized again when Hillary Clinton lost to Trump in 2016.
Now, with the Democratic Party in complete disarray and exhibiting horrible leadership, the media is pitching in to help Democrats undermine the current administration by sowing fear and doubt about the 2026 election.
After the 2016 election was over, it took Clinton about five seconds to start whining about her defeat.
As Dems were considering impeaching Trump, Hillary went on the attack, stating, "Donald Trump right now poses a direct threat, a clear and present danger to the institutions of our government, to the rule of law, to our standing in the world."
Clinton was also asked about Trump saying that she needed to be locked up over her homebrew email server. She responded, "No, it doesn't kill me, because I know he's an illegitimate president. I believe he understands that the many varying tactics they used, from voter suppression and voter purging to hacking to the false stories ... there were just a bunch of different reasons why the election turned out like it did."
Hillary has continued to push that narrative, and now her party and the media are adding fuel to the fire.
Trump has now been in office for six months, and Democrats’ future remains bleak.
Democrat strategist Brad Bannon stated, “Sadly, Democrats are still stuck in the same mud that they were in six months ago. We are still as unpopular as we were when Trump was inaugurated in January.”
Another strategist added, “This is a nightmare scenario for the Dems right now. We better pray long and hard that the country is going to be in a f‑‑‑ing depression, because I don’t know how else we find ourselves out of this mess.”
Desperate times call for desperate measures, and the media is once again pitching in to help.
Former CNN commentator Angela Rye went back to the cheating well this weekend, stating, "I think me and [Tiffany Cross] really might feel a way about telling y'all how many days are left till the midterms because I don't really know this thing’s going to damn happen.”
She then added, "Even if they are going to happen, are they going to cheat like they did, I still feel like they did, in the 2024 election? I don't have data. I got a gut feeling, but I'm going to tell you about the Black woman and the Holy Ghost. We be spot on."
That statement is about as triggering as it gets. “If” they are going to happen. “Cheat like they did” in the last election. She admits she has no data, no proof for which to back up her claim, yet nobody pushes back on the statement. I won’t even get into how ridiculous the statement about not having elections in 2026 actually is.
This is pure desperation by Democrats and the media, but I think it may hurt their cause more than help it. After all, if voters feel like the election is already rigged, why bother to vote? Having said that, I think these allegations are only going to get worse, as other Dems, such as failed gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, are also pushing this narrative, so that tells me this is the DNC’s strategy to try to win back the House in 2026.
