Ivanka Trump hosted four generations of her family at her Miami home for grandmother Marie Zelníčková’s 100th birthday and called the gathering incredibly special.
On Saturday, Sept. 26, relatives filled Ivanka Trump’s Miami home for a rare family milestone. Marie Zelníčková, known in the family as “Babi”, turned 100, and three of her grandchildren plus all 10 of her great-grandchildren joined the celebration.
Fox News Digital reported that Ivanka, 44, posted a series of Instagram photos from the day and framed the occasion as a full century of shared life.
She wrote that the gathering stood for “100 years of life, love, family and memories.”
Jared Kushner appeared with Ivanka and their three children, Arabella, 15; Joseph, 12; and Theodore, 10. Eric Trump and Lara Trump came with Luke, 9, and Carolina, 7. Donald Trump Jr. attended with his wife, Bettina Anderson, and his five children from his previous marriage: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.
Ivanka did not hide the absence that still cut through the room. Her mother, Ivana Trump, Marie’s daughter, died in July 2022 at age 73.
Ivanka addressed that loss directly in her Instagram captions.
Ivanka Trump wrote:
"It was incredibly special."
She continued:
"My mother, her beloved daughter, was deeply missed, but her love and presence was felt throughout the day in the stories we shared and in the family she loved so fiercely."
And she closed the tribute to her grandmother this way:
"Babi, your century of love has shaped generations and lives in every one of us."
The birthday post sat beside older family images that stretch the story across time. One Thanksgiving dinner photo from Nov. 23, 2000, shows Trump relatives at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida. Another frame from March 18, 2006, shows Ivanka with Marie at Mar-a-Lago. On Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, 2008, Ivanka appears holding her niece Kai beside her grandmother at the same estate.
Those pictures make the Miami gathering look less like a one-day event and more like the latest chapter in a long family line.
Earlier this year, Ivanka spoke about that bond on “The Diary of a CEO” podcast. She described her grandmother as “unbelievably nurturing,” said having her in their home is “a blessing,” and added, “I have a lot of love for this woman.” She also said, “You can’t take things for granted in life, and I’ve learned that in numerous ways.”
According to the same reporting, Marie helped raise Ivanka and now lives with Ivanka’s family. The 100th-birthday portraits showed the matriarch seated among children and great-grandchildren who carry her name and habits forward.
A century under one roof still beats a century of excuses. Family that shows up, across loss, distance, and time, is the kind of inheritance no slogan can replace.
