Ivanka Trump hosted four generations at her Miami home for her grandmother’s 100th birthday, calling the day incredibly special while honoring her late mother’s memory.

On Saturday, Sept. 26, the former first daughter gathered relatives at her Miami home to mark a rare family milestone: the 100th birthday of her maternal grandmother, Marie Zelníčková, known to the family as “Babi.”

Fox News Digital reported that three of Zelníčková’s grandchildren and all 10 of her great-grandchildren joined the celebration, spanning four generations under one roof.

Ivanka, 44, posted a series of photos from the day and wrote that the occasion captured a full century of family life.

“100 years of life, love, family and memories,” she wrote on Instagram.

"It was incredibly special,"

she added in her caption of the gathering.

Grandmother’s century of love anchors the day

Zelníčková helped raise Ivanka and now lives with her family. Ivanka has described her grandmother as “unbelievably nurturing” and said having her in their home is “a blessing.”

She addressed her grandmother directly in one post.

"Babi, your century of love has shaped generations and lives in every one of us,"

Ivanka wrote.

The formal family portrait showed Zelníčková seated among relatives. Beside Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, were their three children: Arabella, 15; Joseph, 12; and Theodore, 10.

Eric Trump attended with his wife, Lara Trump, and their children, Luke, 9, and Carolina, 7. Donald Trump Jr. came with his wife, Bettina Anderson, and his five children from his previous marriage to Vanessa Trump: Kai, Donald III, Tristan, Spencer, and Chloe.

Ivana’s absence still felt at the table

One presence was missing. Ivana Trump, Zelníčková’s daughter and Ivanka’s mother, died in July 2022 at age 73.

Ivanka did not paper over that loss.

"My mother, her beloved daughter, was deeply missed, but her love and presence was felt throughout the day in the stories we shared and in the family she loved so fiercely,"

she wrote.

The family shared stories about Ivana as they marked Babi’s birthday. The moment mixed joy with the plain fact that time keeps moving.

Older photos Ivanka shared underscored how long this bond has run. One Thanksgiving image from Nov. 23, 2000, at Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach showed Eric Trump, Marie Zelníčková, Tiffany Trump, Ivanka, and cousin Robert Desmond. Another from March 18, 2006, captured Ivanka with her grandmother at the same estate. On Thanksgiving 2008, Ivanka held her niece Kai beside Zelníčková at Mar-a-Lago again.

Earlier this year, the same bond brought tears

The birthday posts followed an emotional turn earlier this year on “The Diary of a CEO” podcast. There, Ivanka spoke about her grandmother’s place in her life and the perspective that came after losing her mother.

“I have a lot of love for this woman,” she said of her grandmother.

She also put the lesson in plain terms.

"You can't take things for granted in life, and I've learned that in numerous ways,"

Ivanka said on the podcast.

That same theme ran through the Miami gathering: a living matriarch at 100, children and grandchildren filling the room, and a daughter and mother remembered in the stories told around her.

In a culture that often treats family as optional and permanence as old-fashioned, a century of one woman’s care still showing up in the next generation is worth noticing.
