Attorney General Pam Bondi is having a bit of a rollercoaster ride right now.
While she has had some significant wins, where it counts the most, she has let Trump down.
The latest being failing to secure a single indictment against the six Democrats who published a video to tell our military members to defy what they deemed to be illegal orders.
By now, you all know the story of the six Democrats and their video, with the big name in the group being Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ).
The video was created to try to get military members to defy orders for strikes on drug boats.
Dems have been claiming that the orders are illegal, yet when Kelly was asked if he would have defied the order, he served up a word salad that would have made Kamala Harris proud.
Trump was expectedly livid, demanding that the six of them be brought to justice.
U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has been a rock star for Trump to this point, but she failed to land the grand jury indictments in this case, and I am sure that disappointed both Trump and Attorney General Pam Bondi.
After the decision was announced, Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) posted, “Today, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro attempted to persuade a Grand Jury to indict me.”
She continued, “This was in response to me organizing a 90-second video that simply quoted the law. Pirro did this at the direction of President Trump, who said repeatedly that I should be investigated, arrested, and hanged for sedition.”
Slotkin refused to be interviewed by the FBI during the investigation, remaining defiant throughout the process.
Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), who was also on the video, stated, “Today an American grand jury honored our Constitution by standing up to an outrageous abuse of presidential power and taxpayer dollars. No matter the threats, I will keep doing my job and upholding my oath to our Constitution.”
This is far from the end of this, however, as there are other suits related to the video.
Sen. Kelly, for instance, has filed a suit against Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and the Department of Defense for his actions to demote and censure Kelly. Hegseth had even stated that he may recall Kelly to active service for a court-martial.
I get being upset by the video, but this case never had a chance, and now they have provided Democrats with more fodder to use against Trump and company regarding the election. This silly stuff has to stop because it is all blowing up in Trump’s face. And, honestly, I would not be surprised one bit if this is the final straw for Bondi.
