I have heard a lot of horrible things come out of the mouth of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), but after her latest, I never again want to hear how Democrats are not suggesting violence against Trump.
No, they don’t get to play innocent on this one.
Omar is getting blasted online for her comments, but Congress must take action against her for this one.
Trump is reportedly mentioned in the Epstein files in one way or another more than 5,000 times, which is why Democrats say the administration is trying to cover them up.
Now, if you know anything about these files, the mention could be something as simple as Trump being named in an email between Epstein and another party.
In fact, the most damaging emails for Trump appear to be a scheme being concocted between Epstein and Michael Wolff to try to take Trump out of the election.
Trump has never been formally accused of anything, and as far as I know, the most damaging allegations in those files have been debunked. But the fact that his name is in there is all Democrats need to attack him.
Democrats have been accusing Trump of being a pedophile, rapist, and a host of other things because he is mentioned in the files, while completely ignoring one of the files where Trump blew the whistle on Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to local police.
To that point, when Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) heard Trump’s comments about the fraud in her state, she posted to X, “The leader of the Pedophile Protection Party is trying to deflect attention from his name being all over the Epstein files.”
She continued, “At least in Somalia they execute pedophiles not elect them.”
House Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY) was livid, responding, “Of all the people to make any comment, Ilhan Omar is the one person in Congress who probably needs to keep her mouth shut."
The one question that always comes up is, why did the Democrats sit on these files during the Biden administration if they thought they could get Trump? And I think I figured this all out.
The people who saw these files on the Democrat side knew Trump was in them, but they also knew that there was nothing that would truly hurt Trump. If they exposed them, it would be dismissed as a political hit job. They likely assumed that when Trump saw his name, he would do exactly what he did, which was to try to kill the release.
Dems also knew that these files were going to ruin a lot of people, and whatever party exposed them would be contributing to the destruction of their party. Notice how all the talk of Bill Clinton and other Democrats has faded, and all we are talking about these days is Elon Musk, Donald Trump, and Howard Lutnick.
This, in my opinion, was a calculated move by Democrats, and they pulled it off flawlessly. Trump knew the files would blow up on the party, but I believe he only made it worse by making such a big stink about it instead of addressing it head-on.
