When Joe Biden was still in office, his biggest advocate was his son, Hunter.
Hunter went off on Barack Obama, then George Clooney, for what took place at a big California fundraiser ahead of Joe’s disastrous debate against Donald Trump.
Things are changing now, however, as Hunter was just very critical of his father’s immigration policies, among other things.
Over the summer, Hunter sat down with YouTube personality Andrew Callaghan, and he gave a rather spicy interview, and that is understating the venom that came out of Hunter’s mouth.
Hunter, in my opinion, was a bit unhinged during the chat, but that was not how Tommy Vietor, a former Obama White House official, saw things.
He commented, “It’s good to see that Hunter has taken some time to process the election, look inward, and hold himself accountable for how his family’s insular, dare I say arrogant at times, approach to politics led to this catastrophic outcome we’re all now living with.”
The one statement I found particularly interesting was when Hunter pushed the narrative that all that most immigrants are good for is menial physical labor, stating, “How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your f‑‑‑ing table? Who do you think washes your dishes?”
Hunter just appeared on The Shawn Ryan Show for a roughly five-hour interview, and while the tone was still the same as before, his outlook on his father’s presidency has changed a bit.
For example, on immigration, he stated, “But we don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally, draining us of resources, and being prioritized above people that are actual, literal heroes, that are still recovering from 21, 20 years of endless war -- or anybody else in our society.”
He was also critical of the Afghanistan withdrawal, stating, “I think that there was a better way to do it, and … I can blame it on his generals, I can blame it on [other] people [for] the way in which we did it, but -- and my dad always knew this also, is that the buck stops with him.”
He’s right in that the buck stopped with his father, especially after recent reports we have seen in which the former president disregarded several warnings given to him by his advisers, as he was dead set on getting out of Afghanistan regardless of what anyone else thought.
Hunter also made another stark revelation, that being that he is now $15 million in debt, saying that he has no idea how he will get out of the financial mess. I am starting to think he is making this pivot as a way to get a book deal or some other payday to dig himself out of this hole.
He stated, “Nobody’s riding to the rescue for Hunter Biden. My dad, you know, entered the presidency as the poorest man to ever take the office. And he left the presidency [as] the, you know, not poorest, I mean, he’s fine, but he has no, we have no generational wealth.”
Hunter continued, “I don’t have any, you know, despite what these guys say, like there’s no billions of dollars buried underneath my dad’s house.”
That is what happens when you have been coddled by your father your entire life and not once been held accountable for your actions. The man has a law degree, has had millions deposited into his bank account, and he blew it all. So, sorry, Hunter, there is no empathy here regardless of the story you are telling.
