The fallout from the Epstein files has been fairly significant, ruining political careers as well as the private sector.

Several big names in the entertainment industry were mentioned, and we are now seeing the fallout.

As an example, Casey Wasserman has been forced to sell his talent agency over the fallout from the files.

All files released

When Donald Trump reversed course on the Epstein files being released, I had prognosticated that I thought this was because he saw the sheer volume of powerful people in the files and knew it would ruin them.

It was not necessarily because they had done anything wrong, but we have already seen what happened to Trump simply because his name was mentioned.

As far as the public is concerned, if you are in there, you are guilty.

Regardless, the DOJ went through the files and finally released everything it had in mid-February, and the fallout has been taking place ever since.

Facing the fallout

While foreign politicians appeared to have taken the brunt of the hit, they were far from alone.

There were a total of nine major foreign politicians who faced backlash from being in the files, but there were also six major business owners and six knows academics who suffered from the release of the files.

Some of the bigger names involved are Andrew Mountbatten, formerly known as Prince Andrew, Thorbjorn Jagland, Peter Mandelson, Thomas J. Pritzker, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, and Dr. Peter Attia, among others.

Then there is Casey Wasserman, whose clients started to bail, forcing him to put his talent agency on the market.

Business has been ruined

After Casey Wasserman’s name was revealed, some of his biggest clients bailed, forcing Wasserman into survival mode, having decided to sell the business rather than see it completely ruined.

Tommy Mottola is one of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, but the files made it appear as though he and Epstein were very close. The result of this put a new project in the works with Jimmy Fallon on hold.

Another big name in the files was "Melania" director Brett Ratner, which came out the same weekend that the movie was debuting, creating more scandal for the First Family.

I doubt we are done seeing the fallout from these files, and there will surely be more big names who tumble as more information becomes available. Right or wrong, the mere mention of a name in these files is ruining people, as it would appear my initial feelings about the files were dead on.
