The Biden family has to be livid today after former first son Hunter Biden’s former psychiatrist, Dr. Keith Ablow, spilled his guts about the entire clan.
Nothing was off the table, it seems, from Hunter’s laptop debacle to Former President Joe Biden’s own mental issues.
I would honestly be surprised if the Biden family did not come after Ablow, especially Hunter, as he seems to be skirting the legalities of the doctor-patient privilege. Bad for the doctor, but it makes a great report for us.
Ablow appeared on Miranda Devine’s Pod Force One podcast this week, and boy, did he open up about the Bidens.
As to how he became Hunter’s shrink, he explained, “I think I was recommended to Hunter, and I had treated lots of high-profile folks, continue to coach lots of high-profile folks. So there’s that.” Ablow started to treat Hunter in 2018, according to the report.
This was an odd pairing at the time, as Ablow had claimed in 2012 that Joe Biden was showing signs of dementia onset during his vice presidential debate against then-Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI).
Why Hunter chose to look past that and move forward with the professional relationship, Ablow explained, “When you’re suffering, it doesn’t matter. It really levels the playing ground. And one’s political affiliation doesn’t matter.”
Ablow believes that Hunter abandoned his laptop as a way to shed that part of his life, explaining, “I don’t think you have to be a psychiatrist to say if somebody is leaving behind information of that kind on laptops, maybe there’s kind of a Freudian desire to be rid of that part of your life.”
He continued, “It’s interesting. I don’t know that Democrats would agree with this, or a lot of them, but God works in mysterious ways. And if you are unsettled with the kind of life you’re leading, or your life story, if it’s not authentic to you -- and I don’t know if he had that sense, I mean, after all, he’s evolved, apparently, into an artist, quite different than what he was doing -- then you may arrange, unconsciously, to rid yourself of that false persona.”
He concluded, “And if someone said to me, ‘Well, is it out of the question, Keith, that [Hunter] would literally dispense with that part of himself by leaving it behind again and again, yet, in a way that ultimately ends up with him pursuing a very different kind of life?’ I’d say, ‘Well, certainly it’s possible.'”
It’s an interesting explanation, as I have always thought that Hunter left his computer behind purposely to create a problem for his father. I think Hunter had some clear animosity towards his dad, and the laptop's exposure was a roundabout way of hurting him. But hey, I am not the shrink here.
As we noted above, Ablow was the first person I know of who even dared to hint that Joe Biden was suffering from dementia, so he was not surprised at all when the then-president froze like a deer in the headlights during the aforementioned debate.
He explained his observations during the Ryan debate, stating, “You tend to say, ‘Well, why am I uncomfortable with this? Why am I having a strange feeling about it?’ My feeling at the time listening to Joe Biden was, ‘This feels like a staccato performance. It feels brittle to me’, and not just because he was debating and he has a habit, let’s say, of interrupting, but because the interruptions seemed too frequent and inelegant during that debate, and I felt like his laughter was also arresting. It didn’t seem to me to be appropriate.”
He continued, “And so, I thought, well, what could be an explanation for that? And I went on Fox News and said, ‘Well, one explanation -- I haven’t interviewed this man, I’m not diagnosing him -- but some folks who have that kind of behavior … have an element of dementia.’”
When he made these comments, the mainstream media lit him up, but it turns out he was right. Sadly, far too many people miss the early signs when something can still be done to address the issues. But hey, Biden’s family appeared to have ignored not only his mental decline but also possibly his cancer, as he was surely showing visible signs of the disease while still president. Like I said, power is always first, even if you have to keep a diagnosis secret so you aren't removed from office (that is my opinion).
