Exiled Iranian prince says he is ready to lead if needed

Exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi is making his play to be installed as the new leader of Iran.

Operation Epic Fury removed dozens of terrorist leaders from Iran, and the nation is quickly running out of options to lead the terrorist nation.

The son of the late Shah is now offering to take the helm if there is a regime change.

Not about regime change

Immediately after Operation Epic Fury started, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that this was not really about regime change.

That was not to be confused with the fact that the administration would love the added benefit, but it was clear this operation had a military goal, not a regime goal.

Hegseth stated, “This is not a so-called regime change war, but the regime sure did change, and the world is better off for it.”

He then set the goals very clearly, stating, “Destroy Iranian offensive missiles, destroy Iranian missile production, destroy their navy and other security infrastructure, and they will never have nuclear weapons.”

I want a say

Trump seemed to contradict Hegseth’s statement by saying that he wanted to have a “say” in the next leader of Iran, adding that he wanted to be personally involved, but we need to be realistic about his true expectations here.

It is unlikely that Trump expected Iran to pick up the bat phone and ask for his advice on an appointment. Instead, Trump was likely looking to have someone installed who would welcome honest negotiations regarding the country’s nuclear capabilities.

Yet, Iran soon declared, "The great Iranian nation will never allow anyone to interfere in its internal affairs and its right to determine its own destiny.”

But if there is a change, someone has already publicly applied for the job.

I will take over

Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has offered to take the helm of the terrorist nation if the job just happens to open up. He stated, "The transitional system, under my leadership, will be ready to assume governance of the country as soon as the Islamic Republic falls and, in the shortest possible time, establish order, security, freedom and the conditions for Iran’s prosperity and flourishing.” Pahlavi has been living in exile since the revolution toppled the government and established the Islamic Republic in 1979.

He later added, "Only a clean break will ensure that not only we achieve a democratic solution and alternative to this regime, but there will be people who are not in any form or shape directly associated with this regime.”

He is not looking to take over permanently, however, simply stating that he would lead a transitional team that would then allow the people of Iran to freely elect the next leader of the country. It’s an interesting proposal, but one that is not likely to take place.

For a true regime change to take place, there would most certainly have to be boots on the ground, and that would be a game changer for the GOP, and not in a good way. The moment we put troops on the ground, the Dems go on the attack, and there is no way Republicans in Congress will allow that to happen.
