When the DOJ said it found millions more files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case, we were assured that this nightmare would continue.
Now, we all knew there were some big names in there, and they are now being revealed.
This has reached deep inside the Trump camp, as well as reaching all the way across the pond to take out a very influential foreign diplomat.
This weekend, it was announced that the Department of Justice was releasing about three million new documents, including pictures, from the Epstein files.
One new name attached to Epstein was Elon Musk, as well as more documents naming Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton.
Mind you, none of these individuals have been linked to any nefarious behavior, but the fact that they are simply in the files is likely to be a problem.
There were also two names in those files that are generating a lot of headlines, and it could be a problem for both the Trump administration and the Royal family.
For the Trump administration, the most damaging document was a picture of director Brett Ratner.
In the photo, Ratner is sitting on a couch with Jeffrey Epstein, and an unidentified woman is between the two of them, with Ratner’s arms wrapped around her. There is another woman present sitting next to Jeffrey Epstein.
The reason this is a problem for the Trump family is that Ratner just directed the First Lady’s new documentary, “Melania.”
Ratner has been out of the business since 2017 after having directed such hits as “Rush Hour,” “Horrible Bosses,” and “War Dogs,” among others. He went dark after being accused of sexual misconduct by several women, so the timing of that picture could not be worse for Trump or Ratner.
Former UK Ambassador to the US Peter Mandelson has far worse problems, however, as a picture was released of him in his underwear with an unidentified woman in a robe.
It was also revealed that Mandelson has received a direct payment of $75,000 from Epstein.
Mandelson lost his job due to his connection to Epstein, and his office responded to the photos, “No one can say who or where the photo was taken. Lord Mandelson has absolutely no idea or indeed whether it has any connection to Epstein at all.”
In addition to questioning when the photos were taken, Mandelson had stated he has no recollection of having received the payments from Epstein. Selective amnesia is a beautiful thing.
