Bondi release of Epstein grand jury testimony blocked by judge

As you all know, the Epstein files have become a focal point of attacks against President Donald Trump and his administration.

Trump has tried to defuse this by saying he would release the grand jury files to the public, a push Attorney General Pam Bondi set in motion almost immediately thereafter.

That quest has been stopped short, however, as yet another Democrat-appointed judge has blocked the desired release.

Release the files

I have remained adamant that I still believe there is some sort of client list in existence, even if it was not put together by Epstein himself. I believe the government has a list of close associates of the disgraced billionaire who participated in the services he made available.

I believe that list is so substantial that Trump decided to bury it rather than put D.C. in a state of chaos, as most of us believe there are many high-ranking officials who were associated with Epstein and his nefarious activities.

So, rather than publish that list, I think Trump pivoted to a release of the grand jury testimony, which would likely be heavily redacted.

In requesting the files be released, Trump stated, "I have asked the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony with respect to Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval. With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!"

Nothing to worry about

Democrats are attacking Trump because they think he has something to hide.

Trump has already stated that is not the case, and his account was even backed up by longtime Epstein confidante Ghislaine Maxwell herself, who gains nothing from lying at this point.

Maxwell was previously interviewed by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who actually drew rave reviews from her legal team on how thorough he was during the closed-door meetings.

According to reports at the time, Maxwell confirmed that she never saw anything regarding Trump’s behavior when he was with Epstein that would create a problem for him.

Blocked

The request made by the Department of Justice for the transcript release has been denied by U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer, a Barack Obama appointee.

In part, he wrote, "First, the grand juries in this case were not used for investigative purposes. They did not hear testimony from any firsthand witness to any event at issue. They did not hear testimony from any victim, eyewitness, suspect, or even a records custodian. The grand juries met instead for the quotidian purpose of returning an indictment."

He added, "Second, the evidence put before the Maxwell grand juries is today, with only very minor exceptions, a matter of public record. The Government admitted as much."

So, Bondi has been shut down, leaving Trump with only one real option at this point, and that is to release the files to the American people. Trump has now backed himself into a corner on this front, as the media, Democrats, and even MAGA are not letting it go. What will be his next move?
