Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez welcomes NYC mayoral hopeful Zohran Mandani to DC

Democrats are starting to draw the line in the sand when it comes to Zohran Mamdani.

We are starting to see some in the party push back against Mamdani’s agenda, while others are still sitting on the sidelines, but Rep.  Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), of course, has fully embraced the socialist who is pushing much of the same agenda she pushed when she first won her seat.

But, yet again, another disturbing revelation has surfaced that could reveal Mamdani’s real intent.

Last line of defense

New York Gov. Hochul is going to have a fight on her hands as well in the next election, so now she is pushing herself as the last line of defense against Mamdani.

Hochul has taken to calling herself the “therapist in chief,” as well as saying she will block the more extreme policies of Mamdani from ever coming into play.

She stated, “I’ve spoken to hundreds of business leaders saying, ‘Listen, nothing is going to happen to this city without me being aware of it and involved in it.’ So don’t talk about packing up and leaving and all these other overreactions."

Hochul continued, “I’ve become the therapist in chief, it seems. So I’m saying to everybody, ‘We’re going be okay.’ Maybe it’s the mom in me. I know how to calm down situations and we’ll get through this.”

Open arms

Mamdani, who has been backed by AOC and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT), was openly welcomed to the nation’s capital this week to celebrate his recent mayoral primary win.

AOC wants to start showing Mamdani around like a pony to try to get more Democrats in New York to endorse him in the general election.

She stated, "I think a lot of people just need to get to know folks before they issue an endorsement. I hope that this conversation can be constructive to bring the party together and rally behind our nominee.”

This is likely to be a tough sell, especially if former Gov. Andrew Cuomo surfaces as the main competition, and that is how things are playing out. Current New York Mayor Eric Adams was hit with yet another corruption allegation, and nobody is taking GOP candidate Curtis Sliwa seriously.

Disturbing news

Zohran does not fall from the tree of his Israel-hating father, whom the online sleuths are now digging into to see what inspires the mayoral hopeful.

Mahmood Mamdani once posted, "When all ranks of the Occupation, from the armed settler to the settler state, claim 'the right of self-defense', what language is left for those who defend themselves against the Occupation but the right to resist?”

He also wrote, "The resistance this time began in Jerusalem and spread to Gaza, now the West Bank and Palestinian communities beyond. This is not a conflict between Israel and Hamas. We are witnessing something far more meaningful, the birth of the Third Intifadah against settler colonialism!”

Zohran, while refusing to pull back his prior anti-Jewish remarks, is trying to play the game to win this election, but I think we are showing that this man has no business holding office in this country. His ideology likely has our Founding Fathers turning over in their graves due to the potential direction a Mamdani administration in New York City could take this country.
