Thought of the Day
I just read a passage by Wendell Berry, which stated:
"If you don't know where you are, you don't know who you are."
It made me think of our border situation and the two different approaches taken in this country. The liberal side of the aisle wants us to have open borders, while conservatives want our border rules enforced, something virtually every country in the world already does. In essence, Democrats and liberals want to change the identity and ideology fundamental to our Founding Fathers' vision.
This brings me to a burning question… why is it okay for every other country in the world to enforce its border laws and set standards for immigration, yet when the United States does the very same thing, we are considered racists? What is the ultimate goal of globalists who want to erase our borders and allow immigrants to flow freely into this country?
