Far-left politician ejected from Trump’s address to Israeli Parliament

It turns out that the radical left, impacted by Trump Derangement Syndrome, is not only present in the United States.

During Donald Trump’s Monday address to the Israeli Parliament, a far-left member of the legislature had a bit of a meltdown and caused a scene.

He was quickly shown the door, much to Trump’s delight.

Time to go

Let’s address the fun stuff first, as Trump’s address to the Knesset set off Ofer Cassif, a lawmaker from the extreme left-wing Hadash party.

As Trump started to speak, Cassif started screaming, but nobody seemed able to make out what he was saying.

Trump stood at the podium with a smirk on his face, completely unfazed, as Israeli MPs ushered the man out of the chamber.

The president continued his speech, heaping praise on special envoy Steve Witkoff for helping bring peace to the region.

The ‘golden age’ of Israel

If this peace deal holds and Trump can expand on his Abraham Accords, this will truly be his legacy, and I am sure that makes him very happy.

Trump was elated over the peace deal, stating, "After two harrowing years in darkness and captivity, 20 courageous hostages are returning to the glorious embrace of their families.”

The president continued, "Twenty-eight more precious loved ones are coming home at last to rest in this sacred soil for all of time. And after so many years of unceasing war and endless danger, today the skies are calm, the guns are silent, the sirens are still, and the sun rises on a Holy Land that is finally at peace."

He then added, "This is not only the end of a war. This is the end of an age of terror and death, the beginning of the age of faith and hope and of God.”

A true friend to Israel

There is a real bond between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that you rarely see in the political world. This is a genuine friendship that has lasted through some very tumultuous times.

Trump, during his address, spoke directly to Netanyahu for being able to look forward, telling the Israeli PM, “I just want to congratulate you for having the courage to say that’s it, we’ve won, and now let’s enjoy our lives and let’s rebuild Israel and make it stronger and bigger and better than it’s ever been before.”

Netanyahu then called Trump “the greatest friend Israel has ever had in the White House,” which kind of blows the whole “Trump is a Nazi” theme to bits. He added, “Mr President, you are committed to this peace. I am committed to this peace. And together, Mr. President, we will achieve this peace.”

Nothing is bigger than this peace deal right now, nothing. Trump has been obsessed with winning the Nobel Peace Prize, and if this does not put him over the top for next year's award, nothing will. And to that point, if Trump does not win the prize, I think it is safe to say that the luster of the award will be permanently tainted, because peace in the Middle East, well, there is nothing that compares to that achievement.
