Barron Trump floated as possible TikTok board member

Donald Trump owns his own social media company.

Elon Musk owns X, so can you imagine what will happen if Barron Trump is named to the board of TikTok?

The young Trump's ascension to that board is not out of the question, as his name was just dropped as a potential candidate, sending a shiver right up the spines of Democrats.

Barron Trump and Joe Biden

Barron was already becoming a hot topic in this country for helping his father during the 2024 election, which I will get to in just a second, but he also made news due to his interaction with Joe Biden during the inauguration.

There was a lot of speculation that Barron leaned into Joe Biden’s ear and said, “You’re done,” but a communications expert said that was not the case.

Judi James explained, "Barron very confidently and by all appearances charmingly bent to shake hands and exchange a few words with Biden.”

She continued, “And although Biden's face seems to fall as though Barron has passed on some kind of sinister threat or message, the truth was less dramatic as Barron seemed to be leaning to greet Kamala and Biden's face was registering the fact that he'd finished his greeting ritual with Trump's son."

He did it

The one strategy to which I pointed as a driver of Donald Trump's ability to win the 2024 election, largely because he vastly improved his reach among young Black men, was the podcast strategy pursued by his campaign.

That course of action reportedly came into being at the recommendation of Barron Trump, who encouraged his father to appear on popular podcasts to reach more voters, and it worked tremendously.

Donald Trump gave Barron the nod on this several times, as did Melania Trump, during a Fox News interview after the election. She stated, “He brought in so many young people. He knows his generation because nowadays the young generation, they don’t sit in front of TV anymore.”

Melania continued, “They are all on the tablets, they are on the phones and all of these podcasts and streamers.”

Appoint Barron

President Trump recently made a deal to have TikTok ownership turned over to American investors, and the president's former social media manager, Jake Advent, believes that Barron Trump would make a great addition to the board.

He stated, “I’m hopeful President Trump will consider appointing his son Barron and maybe other young Americans to TikTok’s board to help ensure it remains an app young people want to keep using.”

Can you imagine the meltdown on the left if Barron Trump is in leadership at TikTok? Unlike Hunter Biden’s appointment to Burisma, however, Barron actually appears to have real-world knowledge that would qualify him for this post.

The only problem, as I see it, would be Barron's receipt of a salary while his father is still president. Dems, while staying silent about Hunter Biden, would lose their minds if Barron made a seven-figure salary on the board of TikTok, and that is likely what such a board position would yield. For appearances' sake, if this works out, Barron may want to forego that salary until his father leaves office. I think his bank account will be just fine until then.
