Report reveals Obama administration purposely hid intel on Biden’s Ukrainian connections

The more this administration digs, the more information it finds that blows both the Obama and Biden administrations’ narratives about honesty and transparency right out of the water.

The latest such development comes from a report that was just released by CIA Director John Ratcliffe.

The report outlines the manner in which intelligence was purposefully hidden to protect then-President Joe Biden over concerns of his family’s ties to “corrupt” business deals in Ukraine.

This is a death blow to the Biden legacy, but the GOP needs to do something about it over and above just announcing it to the world.

I got him fired

Joe Biden has nobody but himself to blame for this, as the ball got rolling when he told a story about getting a Ukrainian prosecutor fired, one who just happened to be investigating a company with which Hunter Biden was involved.

At the time, Biden was serving as the vice president in the Obama administration, and, according to his telling of the tale, he threatened to withhold $1 billion in aid unless Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin was dismissed.

Now, there is no denying that Shokin was corrupt, but the tie-in here is that Shokin, at the time, was reportedly investigating Burisma, the company on whose board Hunter was serving.

The reason Joe Biden and administration officials claimed they wanted Shokin dismissed is that they said he was not pursuing corruption cases against other officials suspected of wrongdoing, and that it had nothing at all to do with Burisma. So, you can see where these waters got muddied.

The Biden family business

Hunter Biden appears to have made a habit of doing business in parts of the world where his father would have the most influence, including Ukraine. Joe Biden, as vice president, more or less took the lead on foreign relations in certain parts of the world, and he was very involved in countries like Romania, Ukraine, and China during his vice presidency, all countries where Hunter made money.

For instance, Biden welcomed Romanian President Klaus Iohannis to the White House in September 2015, and within weeks of that meeting, Romanian businessman Gabriel Popoviciu started to deposit money into a Biden family associate’s bank account. Roughly $1 million is believed to have made its way to the Biden family, with several more million being distributed to their associates.

Biden has always bragged about his relationship with China and President Xi Jinping, so it was rather odd that only months after Biden left office as vice president, money started flowing from a China-based company to another Biden associate's account, with that money, at least part of it, finding its way into the Biden family bank accounts.

Of course, then there is Hunter Biden and his business partner, Devon Archer, joining the Ukrainian-based Burisma as board members, even though Hunter had zero experience in the energy field in which it operated. The Biden gang reportedly received more than $6 million from this venture.

Ratcliffe’s report

Ratcliffe just about broke the internet by declassifying communications regarding an intelligence report that would have brought to light the ties the Biden family had to some unscrupulous characters, with Biden reportedly having asked for the report to be buried for fear of how his family would be perceived.

The email reportedly stated, "Good morning, I just spoke with VP/ NSA and he would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated. Thanks for understanding.” The signature on the email has been redacted, but VP in this case clearly refers to Joe Biden. A department official stated, "Intelligence officials agreed that, at the time of collection, it would have met the threshold [for dissemination], but based on the Office of the Vice President’s preference, the information was never shared outside of the CIA.”

A senior CIA official commented on the report, stating, "Director Ratcliffe believes this is an example of politicization of intelligence that we need to work to eliminate and for what we have zero tolerance. We believe transparency is important. We will release information and avoid any future weaponization of the intelligence community."

This report, which you can read in full on Fox News, goes on to describe what appears to be a façade for appearances' sake, but one particular trip appeared to be very personal in nature, and it raised concerns among some Ukrainian officials about a blatant double standard favoring Biden and his family. I won’t call this a smoking gun, but I can definitely see a few puffs of smoke. So the only question that now remains… what are they going to do with this "evidence" of a blatant cover-up to benefit Biden and his family?
