There has been a lot of disturbing information that has come out about the waning days of the Biden administration.
For instance, over the last few months of Biden's tenure, tens of billions of dollars were rushed out the door to support a left-wing policy agenda.
As disturbing as that was, the words of a former Biden staffer during a recent Senate hearing have raised even more alarms about what Biden was doing with our tax dollars.
In July, a report surfaced from the House Judiciary Committee regarding spending by the Biden administration to undermine Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The report outlined money that was being funneled to anti-Netanyahu groups throughout Biden’s term.
For instance, it revealed, “U.S. nonprofit PEF Israel Endowment Funds provided over $884 million to groups involved in anti-democracy protests in Israel.”
It also reported, “Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors likely provided portions of its $20 million in federal grants from the Biden-Harris Administration to groups funding Israeli protests.”
Right after Biden left office, reports broke that there had been a massive spending spree of about $93 billion during the final three months of the former president's term, designed to fund groups that would help push the liberal green energy agenda.
The problem, however, was that many of these groups were either unproven, only recently formed, or both.
Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) brought this up during a Capitol Hill hearing, asking Christopher Wright, "The people running the Department of Energy for President Biden's administration shoveled $93 billion, not million, $93 billion out the door in 76 days and it just happened to be the time between when President Trump was elected and President Biden, their boss, was leaving. Is that right?"
The key here is the money going to groups that appeared to have been organized solely to get his money, with no track record at all. It’s like one big money laundering operation that was done right under our noses.
Imagine a department head being asked about policies specifically referenced on his group's website, and having him respond “I don’t know” to questions on those topics. Well, that is what just happened.
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) recently questioned Gregory Jackson Jr., who served as deputy director of the Biden White House’s Office of Gun Violence Prevention and, more recently, as the head of Community Justice Action Fund (CJAF). Hawley asked Jackson about the “two spirit” individuals touted on the department's website, and when Hawley asked him for a definition of that term, Jackson responded, "Well, I don’t know exactly."
When Hawley pressed him, Jackson stated, "I’m not completely aware of the language. I feel like I’m looking at a two-faced individual because you talk about reducing violence but also speak out against violence reduction programs." Yet, those words are on his department’s website! When Jackson got indignant over Hawley’s allegations, the Senator shot back, "I take offense that you do not answer my questions, that you deny your own words and that you are leading this committee astray. And, frankly, sir, your policies are absurd, they’re absurd."
It’s mind-blowing how many times this scenario is playing out, as are recent revelations about NGOs that appear to have been nothing more than fronts or money laundering outlets leading to terrorist and enemy organizations. And now we know why Democrats were fighting so hard to try to stop Trump from taking office again.
