For me, one of the most frustrating things on the planet is change just for the sake of change, as we have seen it ruin almost everything, including successful business models. A new boss comes in, tries to reinvent the wheel, and the business goes up in smoke.

“The problem is arrogance. A new CEO or a new politician comes in, looks at something that has worked for decades or even centuries, and their first thought is, 'I can do better.' They mistake stability for stagnation."
“That Sowell quote is the perfect diagnosis for the disease of progressivism: a constant need to replace the proven with the theoretical. They don't call it 'destruction,' they call it 'progress,' but at the end of the day, they are tearing down a house that has sheltered generations just because they have a new blueprint that has never been tested.”
Vincent, I was in the corporate world for a long time, and my least favorite phrase from a new talking head boss was always, “Well, how about we try…” when the operation was running as smooth as silk. Thanks for the comments, and please, folks, keep them coming!
