Since leaving office, we have only seen former Presidsent Joe Biden in public a handful of times, and he has not offered much hope that his mental state is doing much better than it was when he was in the Oval Office.
This week, pictures blew up on social media of Biden with a massive gash and, later, a bandage on his head.
Some of the theories about the origins of the wound were rather comical, but it turns out that Biden had another bout with skin cancer and had Mohs surgery to have the offending tissue removed.
While conservative writers like myself were covering Biden’s mental decline almost as soon as he took office, we were all called conspiracy theorists.
That all changed once the mighty Jake Tapper of CNN co-wrote a book called Original Sin, which documented the very cover-up in which even he took part regarding Biden’s cognitive and physical health.
Now, all of a sudden, everyone was watching Joe’s actions to see if they could see more signs of mental decline.
Since Biden was out of office, it all suddenly became a “safe” topic to discuss.
It took a hot minute for Joe Biden to show his face after the election, and when he did, most Democrats wished he had stayed hidden.
Biden showed up at the event to pander to minority voters, openly admitting that qualifications were not important, but that checking identity boxes was.
Slurring his way through his speech, Biden stated, "Justice Jackson, as you witnessed earlier this week, has proven herself to have the wisdom and the character that I saw in her when I nominated her. Appointed 13 Black women to the Courts of Appeals of the United States Federal Court, more than every other president in American history combined.”
He continued, "For other historic firsts as well, for historic, for Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, Muslim Americans, by the way, I didn't just appoint Ivy League judges."
Over the weekend, pictures surfaced of Joe Biden at a family event with a nasty gash on his head, so there was a lot of speculation that perhaps he had taken a nasty fall or suffered something even worse.
But it turns out, Biden, who had been given an effectively clean bill of health by his doctors after a February 2024 medical exam, needed Mohs surgery to remove skin cancer from his head. As someone who has had Mohs surgery, I can tell you that the need for the procedure is not something that just suddenly appears, raising even more questions about how much Biden’s doctors were keeping from the American people while he was in office.
This is actually Biden’s second bout with skin cancer, but he is also fighting a very aggressive form of prostate cancer, which magically only appeared after he left office, and from the reports I read, the cancer has already spread to Biden’s bones.
The videos of Biden were pathetic, and I don’t mean that in a nasty way, but rather an observation of how bad the former president looked. He is more frail than when we saw him leave office, and there are real concerns about how much time he has left. I used to think it was a conspiracy theory that Biden’s doctors had been covering for him, but it is now almost a certainty that his health issues were being hidden by either the former president himself or by his physicians to ensure he would be able to finish out his term.
