Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) is someone I would describe as the enemy within.
In my opinion, she clearly hates this country and only ran for office to push an extremist agenda from within Congress.
After an unbelievably vile rant this weekend, it now appears some people in the Democratic Party itself are finally waking up to her real agenda.
Palestine is no friend to the United States and no friend to Israel. This is a country that handed over power to Hamas in the Gaza Strip, and did nothing to help Israel destroy the terrorist organization. In my eyes, that makes Palestine complicit and a terror state.
Tlaib does not agree, recently attending the “People’s Conference for Palestine,” where she stated, “They thought they could kill us, rape us, imprison us, violently uproot us from our olive tree farms, starve our children to death, and we would disappear. Well, guess what? Now we’re in Congress, and we’re in every corner of the United States.”
She continued, “Y’all, they just don’t get it. They just don’t get it. They will never truly comprehend, even after seven decades that we aren’t going anywhere. We are just getting started.”
Then it really got disgusting, as she added, “I want to say to all of them, every genocide enabler, look at this room, motherfu**ers. We ain’t going anywhere. We are just growing and growing and growing.”
In response to her rant, Rep. Buddy Carter (R-GA) said that he will move forward with a censure resolution against Tlaib.
He stated, "Her conduct is beneath that of a civilized person, let alone a member of Congress.”
Carter continued, “I am calling on the House of Representatives to censure her remarks and put Democrats on notice for enabling and cheering on antisemitism in their own party.”
Censure? That is nothing more than the verbal equivalent of a slap on the wrist. Tlaib's statements amount to borderline treason, in my eyes, as she clearly does not have the interests of the United States or its people as her priority. In my opinion, she must be removed from office, not just censured.
Yemisi Egbewole, a former Biden White House aide, is finally waking up to the fact that the enemy has infiltrated the Democratic Party.
Egbewole stated, "Rashida Tlaib does not sound like a sitting member of Congress. She sounds like an activist who has no responsibility to the people who elected her.”
She continued, "The people that elected her didn't elect her on the Gaza and Palestinian issue. I understand that that's her identity, and she's made inroads as being the first Palestinian-American elected to Congress, but you don't get to run on your ideology. You have to run what constituents voted you for, and I believe that the people in her district care about economic opportunity, infrastructure, having crime down [and] safety in their communities.”
Sadly, far too many Democrat seats are being occupied by people who are not true Americans, and I am not speaking to their status as immigrants. I am speaking solely to their agenda that appears to be antithetical to this country and its values. Republicans must do more than simply censure Tlaib, as such resolutions have come up before against her and other radical members of the Squad. The best way to defeat your enemy is to penetrate it from within, and that is what I believe Tlaib has done.
