Rosie O’Donnell apologizes after spreading false rumor about MN shooter

Last week, the nation was horrified when a shooter opened fire at a Minneapolis church, killing two children and injuring more than a dozen others.

Donald Trump enemy Rosie O’Donnell could not point fingers quickly enough, blaming MAGA supporters for the shooting, but she was completely wrong.

O'Donnell has since apologized, but the irony here is that while she was pointing fingers at MAGA, Dems were saying this was no time to blame someone for their gender identity.

The shooting

The shooting was horrific, as we all know.

The alleged gunman, who was later identified as a transgender woman, cowardly shot at kids. And based on the writings and videos that have been published since, the children seemed to have been the target.

Ironically, while the mainstream media has always gone out of its way to respect the gender choice of high-profile transgender athletes, it continuously referred to this shooter as a male.

The conservative world erupted over the recent trend of transgender mass shooters, but Democrats quickly tried to deflect.

Omar speaks

Sebastian Gorka, who serves as Trump’s deputy assistant and senior director for counterterrorism, was quick to point out this disturbing trend, stating, “In just a couple of years, we have seen seven mass shootings involving people of transgender nature or who are confused in their gender identity. That is inordinately high.”

He continued, “It’s not about the sexual proclivities of the individual. It’s the fact that nobody seems to notice a very disturbing pattern towards violence.”

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was quick to call out Gorka for emphasizing the link between a transgender individual and the shooting, stating, “These people are all over the place because they want to deflect from the reality, which is that, there was, someone who came into that school, through the window, and assassinated two beautiful angels, as they prayed. This is not the moment to point fingers.”

This comes from a woman who cannot wait to blame Trump supporters and conservatives for every racist attack that happens anywhere in this nation.

Rosie takes it back

To my point that Dems are always pointing fingers at conservatives, more specifically MAGA supporters, O’Donnell got some egg on her face right after the shooting, due to having stated, "What do you know? It was a white guy, Republican, MAGA person. What do you know? White supremacists."

Once the shooter was identified, she was forced to eat her words, stating, "I knew a lot of you were very upset about the video I made before I went away for a few days. You are right. I did not do my due diligence before I made that emotional statement, and I said things about the shooter that were incorrect.”

She continued, "I assumed, like most shooters, they followed a standard MO and had standard, you know, feelings of… you know, NRA-loving kind of gun people. Anyway, the truth is I messed up, and when you mess up, you fess up. I’m sorry. This is my apology video and I hope it’s enough."

No, actually, it’s not enough. First, it was far from sincere. Secondly, the right always gets shredded when they jump to conclusions, so that same standard must apply to O’Donnell. Perhaps it would help if you did more than read clickbait headlines before spouting off at the mouth, as the initial statement always gets more traction than the apology. Her delusion led to misinformation, and it proves why Hollywood actors should stick to playing make-believe for a living and leave real-world news to us.
